The field of classics is inherently multidisciplinary. In addition to language and literature, students study a range of subjects from history, politics, and religion to science, medicine and art. The study of classics enriches many other subjects and is considered an excellent foundation for a variety of postgraduate studies, including medicine and law.

By studying classics, you will gain an appreciation of the Greek and Roman worlds; you will also find that classics allows you to see connections between the ancient world and later times, even up to today.
